YBS have competed the Mechanical and Electrical services to a new ‘Changing Places’ toilet facility into an iconic museum in Leicester.
The Changing Places Consortium launched its campaign in 2006 on behalf of the over 1/4 of a million people who cannot use standard accessible toilets. This includes people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, motor neurone disease , multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, as well as older people.
The project saw the upgraded of the toilet and changing facilities to make suitable for less able people to use with ease. The works included upgrades to the heating, domestic water, drainage, ventilation, power, lighting and other specialist services.
The project was won on competitive tender for a repeat client who tendered as part of their framework agreement.
