Built in 1997, Langley Leisure Centre is one of the borough’s prime leisure sites but much of the plant and other machinery is coming to the end of its useful life.
Now a multi-million pound refurbishment is taking place to extend the facilities, improve the car parking and renew tired facilities.
The refurbishment includes:
· replacement of plant equipment and other machinery
· upgrading ventilation and lighting
· an extension to the current gym to double the capacity
· improvement to the activity studios
· repairs and refurbishment to the main pool
YBS have carried out over a million pounds of Mechanical and Electrical Services Upgrades to the building appointed through competitive tender on a design and build contract.
The centre looks great and to a very high standard.
