In a conscious effort to reduce the consumption of single use plastics, YBS stopped using single use plastic cups in the office in 2019.
Although only a small action, the amount of single use plastic we estimate has been saved to landfill in that time is almost 0.5 tonnes.
The new bottles we’ve supplied are completely made from recycled materials and equate to a further 0.5 tonnes saved from potential landfill, and the final reduction in carbon generation by the reduction in manufacture, packaging and delivery also help reduce our carbon footprint.
Little things can add up to make a big difference and help to reduce our carbon footprint.
