YBS have completed the first phase AHU replacement programme on a Yorkshire Office Refurbishment project and are very pleased with the results.
Replacing an AHU in a live building to a high standard has its own complications, but doing 6 units, in a basement plantroom, kit form construction and doing all this whilst keeping the building operation was a big challenge, but one YBS have excelled at and the photo show the results.
With assistance from our Partnering manufacturer Flair Handing, YBS have removed the existing units and replaced them with high efficiency bespoke air handling units over a six month period.
The AHUs were manufactured in West Yorkshire and installed in West Yorkshire within a 25 mile radius so not only are they efficient on energy, the carbon footprint for resourcing the units and delviering them was excellent.
