YBS have undertaken a boiler replacement project for one of their existing clients, to update an ageing boiler plant, to ensure heating this winter causes no operational problems.
Through their partnership with Hamworthy Heating, YBS have rolled out a phased programme of over 30 replacement condensing boilers, flues and pipework in very restrictive conditions.
The delivery team were faced with many complications – occupied premises, asbestos contamination, restricted access, short time scales, tight budgets and new flue stacks because the old boilers were not condensing.
Within two weeks of mobilisation the first boilers were operational and the programme will shortly come to completion. The boiler capacities were 100kw up to 1000kw and ranged from wall standing, floor standing natural gas and oil fired. All the installations had to accommodate the site restrictions of basement boiler houses and internal builderswork chimneys.
With our vast experience and site operatives skills, we were able to survey each installation and ensure the installations were designed bespoke for each individual application.
