YBS have completed phase 2 of a substantial heating and ventilation upgrade, to a large distribution centre in Atherstone. The project has converted the old BHS warehouse into a multi-function distribution centre for one of our top tier customers.
The project was designed and built by YBS and comprised of the conversion of old, unsuitable HVAC systems into new, fit for purpose systems into a 400,000 sq. foot warehouse. The services installed include, gas fired warm air heaters, gas pipework distribution, new LPHW boilers, ventilation, smoke control, controls and plumbing.
Working very close with the principle contractor, the client, architect and auditing consultants, YBS tailored the scope to make the project achieve the cost and programme requirements. Phase 3 is due to commence later this year.
